In 2005 the San Jose Elks Club was looking for a new location. EBA was contracted to study the feasibility of moving into an existing 48,952 s.f. building that had formerly been a microchip fabrication plant. The program requirements were: two large banquet facilities, a large scale commercial kitchen, offices, conference rooms, men’s and women’s health clubs and locker rooms, exercise rooms, a small dining room, a pool table room, two bars, an Olympic size outdoor pool (not shown) and an Elks club meeting room. Although delighted with the design, to date the club has not relocated.
