Tenant Improvement and Facade Remodel

The company who purchased this apartment building in an upscale Menlo Park neighborhood needed a complete remodel of the building on the inside and the outside, and the building needed to transform into a sophisticated and desirable place to live. A contemporary building to start with, the EBA design team worked with the existing building fabric, using more contemporary colors and details. The buildings were almost totally hidden by an overgrowth of vegetation which was thinned for light and air to the buildings and most importantly, so the building could be seen from the street. A special emphasis was put on designing a street facing pool area as an attractive element to draw future tenants. The property was re-landscaped with a more contemporary design look. The old lava rock entry walls were plastered over and new stainless steel letters were added for a refreshed contemporary look.
